Default Photo Gallery of iPAQ 5450

http://www.ppcw.net/stories.php?sto...2/11/22/0598436

Arne Hess has a great photo gallery with pictures of the iPAQ 5450. Especially useful are the comparison images of the 5450 and the 3800 (or is it a 3900?) series device. Arne also shows a few of the accessories that fit nicely on the 5450.

Great pictures, Arne.

BTW - didn't Compaq say the GSM/GPRS pack is not currently compatible? It fits, but I think the software's incompatible or somesuch.

Arne,

I'm curious, what camera did you use to take those pictures?

The meta data in the jpg's states that they were taken with a Nikon E5700.

You guys cateched me... ;-)
Yes, it's the Nikon Coolpix 5700 I'm tested for some weeks now.
In October I've started a thread about looking for a new camera (http://www.ppcw.net/stories.php?story=02/10/02/5787965) and got some pretty nice input from the PPCW.Net readers which one I should take. Finally I got the Coolpix 5700 for testing which I bought now, some days ago!
While I've wanted to wrote an article about this camera you got the news here - already... ;-)
It has a great Macro zoom and 5 Mega Pixel while it use 4x optical zoom plus 2x digital! If anyone have additional questions about the camera just drop me a note!

Yes, you are right. This was mentioned in the comments which was disabled (because some maintenance I need to do) when you seems to visit PPCW.Net. Currently the Wireless Pack isn't supported, something I've figured out after I shot the pictures. Sorry!

Hey Arne,

So you got a Coolpix5700... Good choice.

I too got a Coolpix but I opted for the smaller 5000 model and then I upgraded the Firmware to 1.7 which now gives me shutter response with no lag and an option to save in RAW (NEF) format.

I got the 5000 because I like the idea of the slide copier attachment which fits it really well and the option for a fisheye and wide angle adaptor as wellas te 2x and 3x tele adaptors.

Here is what Nikon Cooplix cameras can do. The 5700 can do this too.
