T-Mobile/O2 XDA/Siemens SX56 Serial Sync Cable
http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?gomadic-new+jQKYD5+tmobxdasersy.html+ppcthoughts
Looking for a way to connect your Pocket PC Phone Edition to a serial device (computer, GPS, etc.)? This Gomadic cable is the solution - and it just so happens that I have an extra cable to give away courtesy of the fine people at Gomadic. The first person to respond to this message with a photo of them holding their XDA, and an explanation of what they'd use this cable for, will win the cable!
"Extend the capabilities of your new PocketPC Phone with Gomadic's T-Mobile/O2 XDA Serial Sync Cable. By connecting this 5-foot long cable between the base of the PocketPC Phone and a standard serial port, users can have full serial connectivity for synching data, GPS applications and more! The T-Mobile / O2 XDA Serial Sync cable is custom designed by engineers at Gomadic, professionally built to our specification and is available only on-line from our web site. So go ahead and extend the capabilities of your PocketPC Phone today!"

foo fighter is way off
I just want to go on the record and say that foo fighter is way off on this one. I don't know where he gets his material from. I reget to say that another kitten must have died. Foo, be realistic.
[/sarcasm]
Sorry Jason, I don't have an xda, I just wanted to be the first to beat on foo for no reason.

My plan is to use the serial cable to log into Cisco routers via console mode.
...
...
That's a Siemens SX56 from AT&T Wireless
Those look like great quality cables, we will get getting in a sample shorty to review.
I don't need to "win" one just thought I would say hi and that the people from Gomadic are very helpfull. We are getting a couple of cables from them to demo at the next http://www.PSHUG.org meeting and I would not hesitate to order cables from them.
What i thought was cool is that they will build custom cables.

If nobody wants it I can give it away at the PSHUG.org meeting on PocketPC Thoughts behalf. There are lots of PPC PE users there. Thats where most of our review material goes after we are done.

Could MS marketing be wrong and were the only people that have a PPC PE?? Maybe the problem is nobody has a camera or is shy. How about a pic of the PPC PE and thier pet? (the animal not the computer). Just a thought.
