Speedway JAM Details Unveiled
http://www.amazinggames.com/
Amazing Games is the company who brought us the graphically-stunning Chopper Alley. They've been quiet for a while now, but Speedway JAM! looks like it's coming out fairly soon - the Amazing Games Web site has been updated with some information on the game. It looks like it will be BIG! There are four classes of cars you can drive: Touring Cars, Sports Cars, Racing Cars, Formula Cars. Cars can be upgraded with new engines, tires, shocks, and more. There are even five different driver types, each with their own special abilities. What is Amazing Games aiming for with Speedway JAM?
"Our vision was to combine one of the most accessible and action oriented racing games ever created - Sega Daytona USA - with the more in-depth structure and invitation to explore that you find in Polyphony Digital's acclaimed Gran Turismo series. The mobile and handheld format suits an accessible and action-oriented style of gaming - when you just want a quick two-minute race while waiting for your plane, bus, meeting or lecture to bring your life forward."
There's a short video clip showing what one of the cars looks like on the site - check it out! I hope they'll have in-game videos soon...

I just hope this is not a mart phone only game. It would be great to have it on a ppc

No, there's a PPC version, that's what it was for originally.

I'll look forward to it just to see what it can do but to be honest, I never thought chopper alley was all that fun. I bought it and used it to show people what my PPC could do, but as a game it wasn't great.
