Once I wrote an article on Brighthand called "Working out of my briefcase". I can't find it on Brighthand right now, but you can find a Thai translation here. That was all nice and good, but my briefcase did not have additional battery life and a built in printer.
This Italian briefcase on the other hand can cradle your iPAQ, and still sync the iPAQ through a USB cable. Next to that it can charge your iPAQ using a 3800 mhA battery and it can print documents through a built in thermal printer. The price of this all is � 850 ex IVA/VAT.

This is one of the stranger ideas I've seen in a while. Maybe I'm missing something but what protects the iPAQ from the bump and grind of daily life. Looks a bit exposed to me.
And what about us lefties?

This looks like one of those briefcase nuclear bomb devices and then iPaq is used as the ignition electronics.
Or perhaps it is a security interface... input some sort of password on the iPaq to open up the briefcase.... or better yet, use the new rumored 5000 series model with biometric scanning.

The positioning of iPaq seems a bit awkward. It would be much better to have the iPaq positioned on the left side of the briefcase. That way, a person would be able to rest their right hand on the right side of the briefcase while working on the iPaq (perfect for lefties though  ).

Ummm at this point what is the diff between this and carrying around an ultralite laptop such as a dell C400?!?! I mean if you are going to be carrying around a briefcase get the real deal. The intention of the Pocket PC was its portability. This idea throws that out the window. :?: I don't get it.

Man, of all the ultralight you have cite a Dell? Dude, how about a Protege 2000, Sony Picturebook, or the many subnotes that are better than Dell? :lol:

Man I'm so indecisive. First I was going for Dell (Latitude X200 or C640) then Toshiba (Portege 2000 or 4010). Currently I'm shooting for IBM Thinkpad, but still can't decide on dual-spindle mainstream (T30) or ultralight with underslice (X30), argh. Of course by tomorrow I'll flip-flop again...
