Eye candy with Dremples
http://www.geisswerks.com/drempels/
smashcasi posted this in the Off-Topic public forum last week, but after installing it and seeing how cool it was, I wanted to pass it along. Pure CPU cycle waste, but it's so darn pretty - it turns your desktop wallpaper into "living wallpaper" that moves and swirls around...very fun to stare at.

Damn it all, it doesn't work with XP, since you can't turn the Active Desktop off.
** Update **
Wait - I could be wrong...running my 24" monitor at 1900x1200x32bpp may have had something to do with my problem since others on the Dremples forums have it working on XP.

I am running it at 1600x1200 (32bit color depth) on my 21" monitor and it runs fine for me.

The Winamp Milkdrop function has a similar desktop feature.. however it won't work on a GeForce3 (3D Acceleration is required I believe) Fullscreen it works great though.. should be fairly easy to find.
