Default Agenda Fusion 4.5

http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=366202#post366202

In a thread on Brighthand a press release is posted on Agenda Fusion version 4.5, that is presumably out now. There should better integration with a Phone Edition (contact dialing) and a ton of other new features and fixes. As I'm not a AF user, I don't know if the latest update does give you AF version to 4.5. The reason I say this is because the Agenda Fusion site still says that version 4.25 is the latest release, dated May 16 2002. Has anyone tried this?

UPDATE: It has been confirmed, version 4.5 is out. So check it out!

The new version is 4.5 and this is the version that is downloadable even though John hasn't updated the Developerone web site - cobbler's children being the worse shod is a UK phrase that springs to mind

With this new version and Alex at PI turbo-charging the 3.2 edition, PIM users are in a win-win situation. Also, Mark Donohoe at PenAgenda has some interesting things planned for V2 so this marketplace is getting very interesting.

The new update is pretty impressive. The best enhancement, at least for me, is the new contacts interface. It makes adding and editing contacts very easy. I'm also really happy that I can set recurring appointments now. That's a big deal for me.

As for the "turbo charging" of PI 3.2, I've not seen it. I also have PI loaded on my machine, and 3.2 is still very sluggish when pulling up contacts and editing appointments. I like the overall look of PI better, but I just don't have the patience for it.

Now if Dev1 would just release the today page plug-in for AF I'll be a happy friggin camper.

Default Try tAgenda for Today Plug-in

tAgenda at http://www001.upp.so-net.ne.jp/kohgo/index_en.html is a pretty impressive today plug-in, and it offers integration with other PIM (such as AF and PI) as an option. One can choose what app to execute when you click on tAgenda's various icons on the Today screen. So, for example, you can have it execute AF's task when you click on tAgenda's task icon, etc.

Give it a try. Right now it's up to version 0.8, but it is very stable already.
