MobileFax represents a new breed of software - one that relies on the connected state of the device and is more an application "shell". I expect to see more and more applications like this as more PDAs become connected wirelessly. If you're looking for a free way to send faxes, this is an interesting solution!
"Enter the recipient, their fax number (important-including international dial code, area code, number and no spaces), the subject, your email address and the message. Click send and your fax will be sent. Uses only 14Kb storage space. Important: the email address is only used to send an email confirmation that the fax has been sent or if there are any problems - it must be a valid address for the fax request to complete successfully. There is no guarantee when the fax will be sent. While it is usually sent within a few minutes it could take much longer."

You can do it for free over the same network...

Sounds like a cool way to collect fax numbers for spammers. Remember, there's nothing like a free lunch.
I have been hit by fax spammers and ever since I changed the number and only give it to select few contacts. Just like I would never give my mailbox login info to some proxy service (like the Hotmail/POP3 service), I wouldn't ever want my fax number to be passed through such a service.
