Default Hey, didn't I lend you that?

http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&catalog=0&sectionId=0&productId=40384

I have a fairly large collection of VHS and DVD movies, and when friends and family see it, they invariably ask "So...can I borrow one?". I also lend out computer gear, books, etc. I typically keep track of it all in an Excel file, but it's a very non-dynamic way of working with the information. I think this application looks great, and I'm looking forward to using it myself. I don't mind lending things to people, but what's with those people who don't give it back until you ask? Or make you get in your car to go get it from them? I wonder if this app has a warning siren that goes off when you try to sign items out to those people..."Sorry, my Pocket PC says you can't borrow this item."

The developer, Dooblo, has offered to give away five licenses to celebrate the launch of their new application. And the winners are...martin_yll, jpantx, AT, NEW4D, djdj. Remember only registered users can win, so be sure to sign up as a forum member to be eligible!

"Ever lent a CD to a friend of yours and never got it back? Ever found an old skirt and wondered who you borrowed it from? Now you can keep track of all those items using Borrower! Simply enter items when you lend/borrow them, and Borrower will do the rest...auto-complete fields for easy input of data, "Tap & Build" query sentence for easy data filtering, 100% Contacts integration, fully Customizable View, change text size, active fields, 2-line mode etc."

If you didn't win a copy, you can download a trial version of buy a copy for $9.99 (affiliate link above).

Default Cool, can I borrow that?

Sounds like a freeware program I use to have on my Palm: IOU Mate. You can recoup your money fast with one saved item I suppose.

Well, back when I was a Palm user it was freeware. Evidently 1.0 was free and now they're charging for the 2.0 upgraded version.

Haven't really been following the Palm software market of late.
