Default Does Madonna use a Pocket PC?

http://discussion.brighthand.com/showthread.php?s=9dfc5e83f0d7d9cf1b26febea6fca400&threadid=56738

Still the Material Girl, this discussion thread on Brighthand surrounds a situation where a production assistant working on a music video was using an iPAQ, Madonna saw it...and you'll just have to read the rest for yourself. I don't know if this is true or not, but it makes a great story! The closest I can come to matching this story is when I saw Tom Berenger at the same hotel that the first Pocket PC Summit was hosted. Yeah, I know, pretty weak. Source: Foo Fighter

My claim to fame: I'm the guy that had lunch next to David Crosby at the Americain in Amsterdam. "If I had ever been here before I would probably know just what to do. Don't you?" I still can't remember what my client said during lunch, but can remember what Crosy wore. I'm a lost cause...

Bah! I don't believe this guy's story. Musicians use Macs..and I know for a fact that Madonna uses a Mac. So, unless she was unaware that Pocket PC isn't compatible with Macintosh (natively), then I don't believe that she rushed out and purchased an iPaq.

This story seems like a flight of fancy from a Pocket PC fan with too much time on his hands.

Next week's headline..."Bjorn buys a Jornada!"

The only celeb I've met in person..and I'm ashamed to admit this...is Dan Quayle! 8O

It's true. Macs are the dominant platform in the music industry. Go into any recording studio and you'll find a G4 running Pro Tools.

I don't play around with Music editing software very much, but Acid is excellent.

Yeah - if you drop enough of it the defficiencies of the Mac seem less important.... 8)

It's certainly dominant, but your statement was an absolute - I've been in studios running Pro Tools on a PC as well. I simply wanted to point out that your statement was a factual error.

Acid is music software for PCs...not Macs.

Ah... but if I'd put any thought into it it wouldn't have been a quick throwaway joke now, would it?
