Default Idruna Software Photogenics

http://mobileviews.com/merlin/reviews/idrunaphotogenics.htm

Another refugee article from Todd, this time on the excellent application Photogenics. I agree with Todd - this is a wonderful app for "doodling" and a superb all-around tool for digital artists.

"Edit digital photographs or draw your own masterpiece with the Photogenics drawing and photo editing application. Idruna Softwares Photogenics brings the kind of image manipulation features once reserved for large and expensive workstations to the Pocket PC."

You can download a trial version or purchase the full version from Handango. If the price tag is a little much for you, check out Photogenics Personal Edition.

Default small

The PocketPC is great for viewing things... but I have always found the screen too small for drawing. Are there any 'real' artists that use software on the PocketPC for editing/drawing?

The Tablet PC, however seems to be the perfect digital canvas setup.

JonnoB, I think it is important to see that this software is displaying that you can pack some Photoshop features into your Pocket PC. Neither a Pocket PC or a Tablet will probably ever replace the professional drawing tools, but this software could work very well for playing around with those shots just taken on a digital camera.

Don't be so sure! The pen technology is developed by WACOM Technologies and includes pressure sensitivity and even erasing - the Tablet PC will be an EXCELLENT digital canvas - probably one of the best around.
