PocketNow's Review of the bluePAQ
http://reviews.pocketnow.com/content.cgi?db=reviews&id=262
The PocketNow site has a great write-up on the new TDK bluePAQ Bluetooth iPAQ Expansion Pack. There's a detailed discussion of the hardware appearance, software installation, connection management and more.
Some of the hightlights?
PROS Outstanding styling; thin design "Snap-and-play" convenience Easy to use software supports all profiles as HP offering Painless integration with Contacts for dialing/SMS
CONS Bluetooth Neighborhood feels like a catalog Various screens need improvement Potential frequency conflict with WiFi H3900 support? Coming?
But, make sure you go to PocketNow read the entire review. All the information is there that you'll need to help you decide whether this is the hardware that finally brings BlueTooth technology home to you.

I've been using the Compaq BT sleeve for a few months now and it doesn't conflict with my Socket low power WiFi card noticably.
I would have liked to have seen better integration with the Compaq sleeve, as TDK have done with theirs.
Trouble is, if MS are concentrating on the Phone version in the future, and the iPAQ now has BT built in, is there any incentive for the software to be improved?

Still using the Bluepaq
Hi Philip
Are you still using the Bluepaq - I am thinking of getting one - Question is how does it do for power consumption and range.
Another key question how quick is the transfer speed is it faster than InfraRed for instance.
Hope you can help
Martin
