Looking for a free cell phone?

In the never-ending quest for affiliate partner programs that make sense for a site like this, I give you the "free cell phone" offer. Doesn't work in Canada, but I faked my info and poked around. The phones look decent (nothing too fancy though - don't go in expecting a Bluetooth phone!). This is a good option for adding that "extra" cell phone to the family: wife, kids, super-smart dog. If you want to take advantage of it and support the site, cool. If not, no worries.

free?
Most cell/mobile phone carriers give you a basic phone for free when you sign up for a contract. Is this any different? I can see that the phones they have are free when you get a 2 or 3 year contract.

Jason, not sure this is that great a site. They don't mention who the provider is at all (although looking at the phones it appears to be Sprint PCS), and there's no link to coverage maps or any such thing.

Hi - I'm the guy that told Jason about this deal. It's made some very good money for some friends of mine. The company running it is good to their affiliates and very trustworthy.
The current carrier is SprintPCS and soon the will be adding more carriers to the plan. I believe Sun and VoiceStream will be added as well as AT&T.
Like J says - basic service good for the kids or the wife etc.

And we always trust self-admitted spammers.... I'm now wondering what kind of cookies this site dropped on my machine and whether my E-mail address was harvested.
