Where did Pocket PC Passion go?
For those of you wondering, I chatted with Dale and he's moved to a new ISP, and before the IP was finalized at the new location, his old provider pulled the plug. He should be back up and running within 24-48 hours.

Thanks Jason for posting up the news! 
Don't you just hate it when it takes so long the DNS servers to get out the new IP address? Anyway, for those in Albuquerque area I would assume you would get on first as it has already been assigned to some servers here.....

2 things.
1. advice: keep domain management at some good registrar (I use www.netsol.com) and then you can make "stealth ISP switcheroo" - the new site is operational and old too - both the same - so the old ISP cannot even notice that you are making switching! And then, when switcheroo is active (new DNSes updated) then you can say to old ISP "bye bye 4 ever".
2. question: do you have already static IP address ?
(one of my sites is visible by several names and also by IP:
http://212.85.123.91 )
if you have static IP already : please publish it here so that people
will know...

One of the most frustrating things I have ever had to do was deal with Network solutions. I won't go into detail here it wouldn't be right. I do know that when I started telling people my problems with them, I started hearing a lot of "Oh ya I know they did that to me also" from a lot of people. My son even found a website dedicated to them and their less than ethical ways.
jpzr, you are very kind to offer your help. I don't mean anything against you.

Actually you must be somehow right, now I remember that when I wanted to give to my friend a domain www.my-symbian.com then I had so much problems that I have not yet finished this transfer (DNSes transfered to my friend but registry information still problematic).
Hey, I use for some of my domain the http://www.register.com and these guys seem to be much more responsive to requests/things and they control panel is not bad...
My point was just: don't let your ISP to own/manage your DNS servers - it should be done in control panel of some registrar - BY YOU (the owner) - no mercy of ISP. Then you can make "stealth switcheroo" and your old ISP cannot harm you...

Would you be willing to tell us who your old ISP is? If they are prone to such tactics, maybe everyone should know who to stay away from. I currently work for a major web hosting provider, and can say not all providers are like that.
