Two months ago I made a post about my birthday and included the Amazon.com wish lists from all the people who work on this site. A few of you bought me some books, and I wanted to thank you so much for your kindness! I'm currently reading about the history of Sony (superb book!), and it's very enlightening when I think about why they're not currently making a Pocket PC. :-) Remember that since no one gets paid to write on this site, if you want to thank your favourite author for bringing you news & views day and night, check out their wish list. I'm sure they'll appreciate it as much as I did!

I would assume you get paid? I would certainly hope you are.

I'm sure Jason gets paid the same way many business owners get paid. Right after the last bill is paid every month they write a cheque. Sometimes to themselves.... sometimes against their personal account... to cover that last bill.
Right Jason.
I think to often posters such as myself forget, or loose site of the fact that guys like you, Steve Bush, Dale Coffing, and others are footing a bill each month so we can have a place to come and critisize what you do.
Thanks, the cheque is in the mail. Right after I pay my last bill this month.

Yes, whatever income this site generates generally goes toward me - banner ads, affiliate sales, etc. But it's not enough to live on, I can tell you that much. :? That's why I appreciate my sponsors so deeply, and the fact that Sonic Mobility is hosting our site for free. If I had to pay $500 a month for hosting, I'd probably shut the site down.
