Default IA Phone Manager 1.3 in public beta

http://www.iastyle.com/support/tryout.asp

IA Style are working on a new version of IA Phone Manager, and they are currently looking for beta testers:

"IA Phone Manager lets you connect your Pocket PC with a wireless phone. You can upload and exchange contact information and save and edit your SMS text messages. IA Phone Manager has generated a lot of interest, and this new version features Bluetooth support and other interesting applications. But there are so many phones out there, we need your help. Doing a beta test is easy. The software is a free time-limited download, but keep in mind that it may not work 100% with your particular mobile phone and PDA (this is the purpose of a beta test). All we ask is that you download and try it out for a few days, and then tell us what you think."

I used to use version 1.10 of IA Phone Manager and managed to have it working over Bluetooth (albeit unsupported). I liked it a lot, but the recent Bluetooth Manager update on my iPAQ messed something up, and right now it doesn't work for me and my Ericsson T39m. Nor does this new beta, so I'm momentarily out of luck. But still, if you're into SMS/Phonebook support on your Pocket PC this might be a nice product to test.

Send a message via ICQ to Reinhard Schuerer

The beta version works here with an IPaq 3870 and an Ericsson T39m.
PocketPC Service Pack1 and Bluetooth Manager Update (1.1) installed.

The automatic detecting of the phone doesn't recognise the T39m but SMS and Phonebook works great.
