PocketNow has started a survey asking which type of 802.11b card you use (if any). You don't need to be registered to vote, so click the link and get voting!

I'd rather they just built 802.11b in rather than Bluetooth, now that would be a killer app above and beyond anything else on the market!

Two downsides: 802.11b would eat into your battery life even more than Bluetooth, and there's still no way to connect to a GPRS phone over 802.11b. That being said: a 802.11b chip inside a PPC 2002 Phone Edition would be pretty cool.

A combo Bluetooth and 802.11b card in CF type I for my Jornada and with XP drivers so I could use it in my laptop - I'd definitely buy (at least) one of those!

Default 802.11b support natively in PPC200X

What I want is native support, ala XP, in the OS. If I could move between wireless networks at Home and between business locations, without having to futz with the symbol driver settings each time it would be wonderful. Oh well....dream on.

Agreed. Sometimes, I take my notebook just so I can 'discover' what all the SSID in the area are.
