Wonderful Pocket PC 2002/Phone Edition/Smartphone 2002 news
There were some fantastic things seen at both M�bius and CeBIT in the world of Microsoft Mobile Devices. The last 24 months with Pocket PC and Pocket PC 2002 have been great. X-Scale, the LOOX, Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition, the O2 XDA, Smartphone 2002 devices, etc., all ensure that the next 24 months will be even better. My focus for the next few posts in coming days will be on things that touch on Pocket PC's either tangentially or not at all, but will most certainly be of interest to mobile device geeks such as yourselves. Jason took quite a few screen shots of devices mentioned above and will post all sorts of interesting information with his posts. I know Marlof will have his own insights as to what he saw over the past week.
Andy? Not too sure. Fluven fliben goosha heerede blewben. ;-) You'll have to ask Andy to post his "this is what American's sound like to us Sweedes" WAV file. Hysterical.

24 months?!? I have been holding off on a cell phone purchases (almost went for the Treo) for the SmartPhone. Any idea on the price tag?

I didn't mean Smartphone would be 24 months away. It IS launching this year. No idea on price though - it is so dependant on the carrier and how long they ask you to sign up for.
