Default Yankowski Surfaces at GeoPhoenix

http://www.allnetdevices.com/wireless/news/2002/02/12/yankowski_surfaces.html

Carl Yankowski, the former CEO of Palm has resurfaced as the executive chairman of GeoPhoenix, "a start-up developer of an interface that the company claims will simplify use of handhelds and other devices. The company said Yankowski was hired to help the company commercialize and license the interface."

Their website at www.geophoenix.com doesn't give much info on this new "next generation interface" unfortunately. Now, someone explain this - the former CEO of a company that innovated and changed their interface approximately 0.00% in the past 4 years is now running a company that will radically change the interface on portable devices. Strikes me as odd. Sort of like hiring Andrew Fastow (former Enron CFO) to straighten out your checkbook.

Wonderful. Another start-up company for Carl "Pinochio" Yankowski to run in the ground!

Does this mean GeoPhoenix will be making Micheal Jordan and Claudia Schiffer interface designs?

It's not fair to completely write him off. He is responsible for at least one great innovation: ZEN. You see, he fooled you guys already: It's there, but you don't see it.
