Re-Launch Contest #2: Proporta Mobile Device Chargers
Here's our second giveaway, courtesy of Proporta: three of their USB Mobile Device Chargers, valued at $44.95 USD each will be given away. Here's a bit about the product:
"The Award Winning Proporta Mobile Survival Kit includes the extremely popular USB Mobile Device Charger (USB Rechargeable Battery). This handy product charges from any standard USB port (so it works with ALL Proporta power/charging products in your car, home or office) and stores an impressive 3400 mAh of power for when you need it."

Here's how to enter: just post a message as a reply telling me what kind of device(s) you'd use the Proporta USB Mobile Device Charger with, or post a story about an occasion when you really wished you'd had a power pack like this. There's one post per person allowed, and three winners will be randomly chosen. The contest will stay open for entries until April 7th, 2008.
Special thanks to Proporta for their donation of this hardware!

As much as I would love to have the extra power supply for myself, I bet it would end up being used by my wife or daughter most often since neither of them seems to be able to remember to plug in their phones at night.

Which one *wouldn't* I use it with!?
I have far too many devices. I'd it with my Zune 8GB. No, wait, with my Dash. No, wait, with my wife's Dash. Or our Zen V Plus. Or her Zen Vision M.

I take my Zune everywhere with me, especially on long train rides that I must take in order to see my mother. Usually I charge my Zune long enough to hold a charge while I watch some videos, but occasionally I didn't and I during those occasions, I was no longer able to watch videos. I'd like to stop that from ever happening again so that is why I'd like to win the charger.
Plus, my wife goes on a lot of business trips thru out the year. There have been times when her Zune (yes, we're a 2 Zune household) died on her. So that is another reason why I'd like this charger.
Thanks!

I'd use it to charge my Samsung SCH i760 PPC. The USB port means I don't have to carry an additional cable!

Could be my ipod, my LG phone or my At&t 5825. Depends on which device needs the power the most.

Charger usage
I would use this charger with my HP IPAQ hx2750 and my HTC 3125 phone.

Most likely, the wife would end up getting this for extended talk time on her Motorola L7c SLVR. Otherwise, I'd use it for my Cingular 8125.

The kids and wife go up the coast to see the wife's parents a few times per year, and both kids have Samsung MP3 players. If there is to be peace in the vehicle, they must be plugged in. Yes, the personal music player has (at least somewhat) mitigated the cries of "He's looking out my window! Make him stop!"
