PC Magazine Reviews DVDit Pro 6
"Sonic Solutions' mid-level DVDit 6 Pro provides a strong combination of DVD authoring functionality and ease of use. It isn't perfect, but if you've reached the limits of your consumer authoring program, or are frustrated by the interface complexity of your current higher-end program, DVDit is worth a look. DVDit's key strength is its interface, which is flexible and clutter-resistant. The UI features an updated project window with a tree view that contains a clear blueprint of your DVD. DVDit is more accessible than Ulead's DVD Workshop, which often feels awkward and inflexible, particularly when you are creating slide shows or managing multiple audio and subtitle tracks."
The reviewers have been really impressed by the interface of DVDit. Apparently, designing menus and linking has become very easy. It is definitely not a professional package, however it looks like it has moved beyond a simple run-of-the-mill consumer-level piece of software. Some of the features it boasts in addition to the highly functional interface are the slide show function and the inclusion of eDVD for making DVDs with extra content for PCs. Unfortunately, it does not offer fit-to-disk burning.
