Default e-Label Music: Good News or Bad?

http://www.ehomeupgrade.com/entry/1289/e-label_music_good

"I'm torn on the news that Warner Music is developing a new music distribution model called "e-label" that will, according to CNET News, "release music in clusters of three songs every few months [for download] rather than a CD every few years." The reason for the action appears to be two fold: 1. The slump in physical CD sales (which is debatable), and 2. The growing popularity of music download services. Edgar Bronfman Jr., Warner Music's chairman and CEO, states e-label will "inspire further technological innovation and will accelerate the growth of legitimate digital music services."

Better buy those CDs while you still can. With quotes like this from Warner Music, you have to believe that the physical CD is dead. Actually the more I read that last quote by Bronfman Jr, the more I'm sure they'll screw it all up, again.
