Default Converting DVDs to WMV

After trying several out of the box solutions (most notably DVDtoPocketPC, which may or may not be deemed illegal at some point), I came up with a formula that produces smoother motion at reasonable file sizes, using a custom Windows Media Encoder profile and some open source tools..."

Jake Ludington has put together an excellent article on how to take files ripped from a DVD (how you do that is your business) and convert them to a Windows Mobile-friendly WMV format - check it out!

I don't know...pretty good article for a new person. Bbut for my two cents, with a little more effort and a whole lot less time, using DVD2AVI to create an AVI reference file, and then using that in Windows Media Encoder makes for a much better file. You're not losing anything in the conversion to AVI before WMA - no loss of quality, or valuable time.

No, there's not - AFAIK, WMV doesn't support interactive menus.
