SnapStream is the maker of the impressive BeyondTV software product that allows users to create a surprisingly full-featured PVR experience using a PC with a TV tuner card (internal or external). If you've been cursing Microsoft for not releasing an "end user" version of the Windows Media Center flavour of Windows XP, curse no more and get Beyond TV. But I'm most interested in a new product they have coming called Beyond Media.
SnapStream describes their Beyond Media software like this: "Beyond Media delivers an integrated media experience, perfect for anyone that's passionate about digital music, digital photography, and home videos." A bit vague, but the screen shots tell more of a story. The interface doesn't look as polished as the Windows Media Center interface, but this is a step in the right direction.
