Windows CE, the foundation for the Windows Mobile platform, is now ten years old. At the MEDC 2006 Microsoft has released the preview of Windows CE 6, which will enable the next generation of Windows Mobile operating system and embedded devices. At this time not much is known about this release, other than the fact that it enables better Visual Studio integration and that the redesigned operating system enables more complex and powerful applications.
