Default White Paper - Messaging on Windows Mobile 5.0 Devices with Messaging and Security Feature Pack

http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/evaluation/features/mobility/e2k3sp2.mspx

"This white paper examines how Microsoft responds to the evolving mobility needs of your business. Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 communication and collaboration server with Service Pack 2 (SP2), and Windows Mobile 5.0 with the Messaging and Security Feature Pack (MSFP) deliver an integrated, scalable, security-enhanced and cost-effective enterprise mobile messaging solution."

Microsoft has released a white paper detailing the benefits and the features that will be enabled by the use of Windows Mobile 5.0 and Exchange 2003 Service Pack 2 and Messaging and Security Feature Pack (and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Mobile Web Administration tool). By now I believe everyone is sold on the benefits and features. What the folks are expecting from Microsoft and the Smartphone vendors is the formal release date for the Messaging and Security Feature Pack, which needs to be applied on the Window Mobile 5.0 devices before they can take advantage of the features detailed in the white paper. In fact it would be good if Microsoft released a white paper detailing all the components that are needed to enable direct push E-Mail and security features like remote wipe. And when these components are expected to hit the streets. Something that is not clear is, and many believe, that apart from the update for the devices, there is another update for the Exchange 2003 server, that will add the Windows Mobile 5.0 provisioning and security features. I believe it is called Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Mobile Web Administration tool. It would be good if Microsoft clarified that.
