Boost Speaker is Magic!
"Zagg's new Boost speaker, sold under the iFrogz brand, appears to amplify music using nothing but magic." 
It certainly seems like magic, since all you have to do is lay your iPhone down on top of it and the sound "magically" comes through the device speakers, thus amplifying your music! It appears there is a tiny mic according to one article I read, that picks up the sound from your iPhone speakers. However they do it, it seems to work pretty well.
