How Irrational Are You About Your SmartPhone?

"Why is it that your choice of smartphone platform incites so much irrational anger and so many accusations of being a 'fanboy' from people who use a different one?"

It all boils down to not saying a darn thing. Or if you do express a positive opinion about your phone be prepared for the onslaught of vitriol from those that don't own the same phone. At least that is the warning from Marco of Marco.org and Instapaper fame. Can't say I don't agree with him, people are very protective about their particular phone, and I have to agree with him on why: people don't like to be told that they are wrong and if you dis their phone you are basically telling them they have made the wrong choice. What are your thoughts?
