Apple Releases 30-pin to Micro USB Adapter
"A new Apple' branded 30-pin to micro USB adapter popped up over on the Apple UK store. The adapter fits into the iPhone's dock, and allows users to sync and charge via a micro USB connector." The adapter sells for £8.00 and will be available starting October 14th with compatibility to iPhone 3G/3GS/4/4S. This is in response to the EU regulations in place for phasing out the need for a variety of charging cables. A single standard, wouldn't that be nice here in the US? I would rather companies did it on their own versus government intervention but in this case it was the latter.
