Apple Offering AppleCare+ With Expanded Coverage for iPhone
"Apple yesterday announced its new AppleCare+ program for iPhone available beginning October 14." This isn't really a bad deal, GoCare offers one that has $50.00 USD deductible and is $59.00 USD per year so Apple is a bit cheaper. Of course with the Apple one you are limited to two occurrences during the two year period, which I don't think would be a problem. If it was a problem then perhaps the covered party should go with a cheap flip phone! This new plan is in place of the old $69.00 AppleCare plan that didn't include damages from accidents, and is coincidentally being cancelled in place of this new plan. The new plan begins on October 14th and is available for NEW iPhone purchases. One more incentive I suppose to upgrade right?
