Default Is the iPod Classic Dead? All Signs Sure Point to That Don't They?

"So, the iPod classic...

Today brought us the news of the removal of the iPod click wheel games from the iTunes Store. Even casual observers ask themselves whether that's another clue of the beleaguered music player heading to the technology graveyard."

Yea, this plus no upgrades for over two years seems like to me that this little magical device has run it's course. Sad but with all the other devices out there it doesn't seem like it is really needed. Well, I still have a need since I put all my music on mine and have it in my glovebox so I can listen to all of my music in my car. Perfect use for it! What are your thoughts about this magical device, do you still use yours?
