Default Financial Times Pulls App Due to In-App Policy

http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/arti...ription_policy/

"The Financial Times has pulled its self-named app from the App Store for failing to comply with Apple's in-app subscription policy. The publication wasn't interested in Apple's subscription service that took a 30 percent cut and didn't share subscriber data - a policy that's been in place for about two months."

Can't say as I blame them, when they can create something via a mobile web app, which they have done at app.ft.com. According to Financial Times, they had 10% of their subscriber base using the iPad last year, so it's no small number for them. Personally, I don't mind using web versions of periodicals, what are your thoughts?
