Default The Final Cut Pro Controversy

http://www.macworld.com/article/160..._cut_pro_x.html

"It's only been on the Mac App Store for a few days, but Final Cut Pro X has already stirred up a whole messy pot of controversy."

Those words opening the (in my opinion a must read if you are interested in Final Cut Pro X) Macworld article "How Apple re-cut Final Cut Pro for the better" couldn't be more appropriate since, as of late, users are rebelling against this latest version called Final Cut Pro X. In fact, there is even an online petition to show just how upset people are that Apple has revamped Final Cut Pro into the X version. Making demands via online petition such as this seem like a waste of time to me (especially when I see words used such as devastate... come on really?), although it might make those that subscribe to it feel better. I think if you are not happy with it, don't use it. Either continue to use your version of Final Cut Pro until Apple adds the features you want to this software or you can always switch to another software. Apple is going to do what Apple has always done, namely whatever they want. And like any other business they will reap the benefits, or the lack thereof, by their actions when the marketplace reacts. So with all the hoopla over this new version what has happened? Apple is offering those that aren't happy with the latest version a full refund, taking the stance of "we know you aren't happy so you can have your money back, but we aren't changing anything." Time will tell if this is the right move, but I think it is. What are your thoughts?
