Gmail: Always Innovating

While we enjoy creating new solutions to old problems with features like Priority Inbox, those little annoyances and missing pieces are important, too. Recently, we've rolled out several small tweaks to Gmail to show it a little extra love."

If you love Gmail, but have always had a couple of nagging issues with it, check out this post from the Gmail team blog. They've fixed a handful of annoyances, the biggest being adding some settings for auto-saving (or not) of contacts. One of the things I really like about Google, and the Gmail team in particular, is that they are always working to make things work better.
