Default Microsoft Hopes To Woo Developers At MIX11

Boot-camp sessions begin Monday, and Joe Belfiore, corporate vice president with Microsoft's mobile business, is expected to give a keynote speech on Wednesday."</em></p><p><img height="300" src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com//wpt/auto/1302584190.usr117680.png" style="border: 0;" width="600" /></p><p>MIX11 is set to begin tomorrow and Microsoft is expected to make a major push to get potential developers to begin publishing apps for their Windows Phone 7 platform. &nbsp;</p><p>In their statement last month, Microsoft stated 1.5 million copies of developer tools were downloaded and 36,000 people paid to become an official developer. &nbsp;This has resulted in over 11,500 apps with more being added everyday. &nbsp;While this is a good start, Microsoft would definitely like to see more developers producing apps. &nbsp;</p><p>Watch the keynote live at <a href="http://live.visitmix.com/" target="_blank">live.visitmix.com</a>.&nbsp;</p>
