Default Home Surveillance Offering Won't Break The Bank

http://www.ehomeupgrade.com/2011/04...network-camera/

"If you're in the market for an inexpensive home or small business surveillance camera, check out D-Link's new DCS-932L. The $149.99 camera hits all the right notes. The DCS-932L can be accessed from any web browser at home or remotely (Android and iPhone apps are also available), requires no PC to operate, supports 802.11n Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, it can archive video - with DVR-like functionality - to a NAS device, it offers motion detection / alerts, and IR LEDs that let it see in the dark."

If it has been awhile since you checked out home surveillance cameras and options you may be surprised to find that the capabilities have expanded and costs are not that expensive. Case in point: the D-Link DCS-932L camera package allows remote monitoring from any Android or iPhone device, or from any web-based browser. What's more, it also offers motion detection capability and infrared LEDs for night illumination. This combination is available for around $150 (US).
