Default How To Get NoDo Right Now

http://blog.walshie.me/2011/04/04/s...like-right-now/

"Well, first, thanks go out for Microsoft for releasing a support tool for Windows Phone yesterday. Inside that tool, were unreal hidden gems.

Basically they've created a managed wrapper over the whole update process for us, rather nice of them."

It looks like the Windows Phone Support Tool recently released by Microsoft contained an easter egg.  NoDo.  Click the read link for detailed instructions and files required to install the update on your device.

A trusted source has informed me that he has tried the process detailed within and it does in fact work.  However, as with all hacks, do this at you own risk.

hmmmm, after reading this through, it looks like a combination of MS's upload tool + Chevron's side-loader utility. Not sure I'm quite ready to start 'hacking' THAT hard into my WP7 phone just yet.

I'm anxious to get the NoDo update, but I"m thinking a little more patience may be a virtue...

Turns out I was right.. when I got home and plugged in my phone, Zune reported there was an update available. 15 mins later I'm running v7390 (NoDo). Not a lot of 'visible' changes, but it's nice to know that the push is working.

BTW, I'm running an AT&T LG Quantum which was 'unbranded' using the registry hack. No Chevron7.
