The new design allows the mouse to pivot in almost any direction. The net impact is the mouse will allow your hand and wrist to assume a "Dynamic Neutral Position" as you move the pointer across the desktop. The company has both a notebook and desktop version of the mouse, and also has an ergonomic keyboard that sports a very flexible bevy of possible positions.
