Hello Windows Phone users/enthusiasts! I'm very excited to be here to help share the latest news on Windows Phone 7, as well as my thoughts and insight. The mobile market has really struck a passion in me over the last 7-8 years, especially the Windows Mobile/Windows Phone path. My day job is a server administrator for the state of Utah. I appreciate the warm welcome from everyone here at Windows Phone Thoughts. Anyway, enough about me. Let's see what's going on in the Windows Phone world today...

Welcome, Danny. Nice to have you around these here parts.
I had owned a Samsung Focus for all of two days, but ended up returning it. Not because of anything wrong with it - the phone's screen is drop-dead gorgeous and WP7 is a joy to use. I returned it due to lack of faith in Microsoft - that'd it go the way of the Zune. I'm still keeping an eye on WP7 though, because I think the platform is compelling and has lots of potential and may, just maybe, MS will do right by it. There's a good chance there'll be another WP7 device in my future.

I have been using Windows Mobile (now WP) since my Compaq iPAQ in 2001.

Thanks everyone! This is going to be a lot of fun. Hopefully I can add some value to what is already an amazing site. I agree, Windows Phone is showing a lot of potential. If Microsoft can get some momentum behind it, it will be a great success!!
