Apple Announces Annual Shareholder Meeting for 2/23/11

"Apple will be hosting its annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday, February 23, at 10 AM pacific time. The company will be hosting the event for shareholders at its Cupertino offices and along with the usual meeting business will consider shareholder proposals, and answer shareholder questions."

All that is required if you want to attend is to have Apple shares that are registered in your name. This meeting will include a vote for board of directors and also a vote on Ernst & Young, to see if they will continue to be the company's independent accounting firm. Sounds like dry stuff but if you are interested in it, know you now when it is.
