Default T-Mobile Performance Impressive

http://www.tmonews.com/2010/12/t-mo...op-100-markets/

"2010 was a banner year for T-Mobile's network expansion," said Neville Ray, Chief Technology Officer for T-Mobile USA. "We have deployed fiber backhaul to our cell sites to deliver an industry leading mobile data experience on the latest T-Mobile smartphones and broadband devices. Today, we are delivering the fastest data performance in the top 100 U.S. markets on average, and it's only going to get faster as we upgrade our network to offer 42Mbps capability in 2011."

Based on results from a third-party research firm and concluding from tests run from June to November 2010 using laptop data sticks, T-Mobile is offering the best performance (in data performance terms) in 100 US markets. The firm also concluded that T-Mobile’s overall network outperformed all other nationwide networks tested. With improved data performance expected in 2011, this should put a big smile on many T-Mobile handset owner's faces.
