Default Samsung Nf310 Ready To Make Waves

http://www.laptopmag.com/review/lap...sung-nf310.aspx

"If you're going to shell out $399 for a netbook, it has to be special. The Samsung NF310 makes the case for its premium price with a futuristic-chic design, a dual-core Atom processor, and a high-resolution display (1366 x 768) for a 10-inch screen. While this mini laptop doesn't offer the longest battery life, it's an excellent choice."

There is not much differentiating one netbook from another these days.  Unfortunately, while the Samsung NF310 will stand out from its competition in terms of looks, that appears to be all that it really offers.  But that is perhaps the final frontier for computers.  With most of them having enough processing power to handle most everyday tasks, why not add a bit of style into them and make them more a representation of yourself?  We do it with desktop backgrounds, screen savers, ringtones, why not make the whole netbook/laptop/desktop a statement of who you are?  Does anyone remember the good old days when all computers looked pretty much exactly the same?  They were all the same big beige steel box with a flip switch for power, an LED display telling you the speed of your CPU and one or two floppy drives.  How things have changed from big and boxy to silver and clam-shaped.  It does not suit my tastes, as I have always liked the no nonsense look of Thinkpads, but maybe it fits yours.  What computers do you see as sexy and interesting?
