Default Apple TV On Pace to Sell 1 Million Units Per Quarter

http://www.appleinsider.com/article...er_quarter.html

"Just a week after the new Apple TV went on sale, many of Apple's retail stores around the U.S. are sold out of the set top box, with one Wall Street analyst predicting the device is on pace to sell a million per quarter."

I guess time will tell if it is truly a success, but if it's on pace to sell a million units per quarter that is a pretty good start. Sustaining it will be the key, which might be difficult depending on how well the Google TV, the Boxee Box and other potential competitors do in the marketplace. I have a feeling though that Apple doesn't have too much to worry about with the price point they set.
