Default Lenovo Helps With Living On The Edge

http://www.netbooknews.com/10764/le...d-video-update/

"This time around the ThinkPad Edge 11 sports new AMD Nile single and dual core processors as well as Intel’s Core i3 / i5 processors. Sounds good? not if you’re in the US – Lenovo has no plans to release this stateside, you’ll have to do with the ThinkPad X100e. Prices start at $450 for the AMD version and $550 for the Intel version. It’ll come in black glossy, black matte or red and should be available from today somewhere in the world."

When I think ThinkPad, I think high-quality, business class laptops.  I have had my share of ThinkPads, and every single one has been a rock solid trooper.  What is probably more pleasing to me is to see that the TrackPoint is far from dead.  Short of an external mouse, it is my favourite pointing device on laptops, multi-touch trackpads be damned.  But what is it with this trend towards having glossy screens?  I have no desire to see myself whenever I use my laptop.  It can be far too embarassing to see my own mug when I want to computer.  Who here actually enjoys glossy over matte?
