Apple Issues Beta Versions of iOS and iTunes to Developers
"Apple Tuesday evening supplied developers with the latest betas of two major upcoming software releases, with iOS 4.2 and iTunes 10.1 available for testing" The most exciting thing about this story is the presence of AirPrint in both iOS 4.2 and iTunes 10.1. I'm assuming iTunes will be used as the bridge between iOS devices and printers attached to the computer. I did expect that Apple would be adding the ability to read iBooks in iTunes 10.1, but still no word on that. I don't read books on my computer, but it would be nice to be able to retrieve my annotations while I'm working on my desktop. We'll find out more in November, when both are expected to be released.
