Default Apple Retail Stores Are Ranked #57

http://www.ifoapplestore.com/db/201...mong-retailers/

"Among the the nation's 100 largest retailers, Apple's retail chain is a lightweight. But then, being #57 on a list with mega-retailers Wal-Mart, Sears, JC Penney and eBay can still be considered a sign of success."

In 2009, the stores (then only 262 and now over 300) had revenues of $6.577 billion, and so the rankings were based on data that was about a year old. Next month the revenue results will be announced for fiscal 2010, and so we shall see just how much of an increase Apple achieves.
