Default Teeny Tiny SwiftPoint Mouse Review

http://notebooks.com/2010/09/09/swi...t-mouse-review/

"They also require a flat surface next to the mouse to operate, something that is nonexistent on a car, train or plane. This has left many users to deal with touchpads that, while on occasion are great, for the most part result in grumbling and mis-mousing. These mobile mouse problems are exactly what the SwiftPoint Mouse, shown below, hopes to address with a unique shape and a few tricks hidden in this small package."

While there are those of you out there who claim that a trackpad or trackpoint are good enough pointing devices, I cannot honestly say I have found a single one that allows me to work quite as quickly and efficiently as the good ole mouse.  With laptops, mice can be a challenge, as they take up extra space when in use, so I always have to make the decision whether to unpack the wee bugger or not.  The videos of the SwiftPoint make the tiny mouse look useful and fun to use, and it is not that much of a departure from a traditional mouse that it probably would still feel natural to my muscle-memory trained fingers.  I just wonder if they include one of those whistle-to-beep locators so I can find whever I put the thing.  Anyone tempted to get one?
