O2 Halts Froyo Update For HTC Desire

O2 has confirmed that it did put the HTC Desire Android 2.2 update live and ready for users to download - but has had to halt updates.

Any O2 users out there who downloaded this update? Are you experiencing the same freezes and crashes described in the article?
