Default LG Optimus 7 To Feature DLNA

http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/04/...tos-to-tvs-lau/

LG's Optimus 7, now making the rounds as a developer handset, will feature DLNA onboard when it ships as a WP7 production set. For those of us who aren't quite up to date on the latest ion consumer electronics technology (like me), DLNA offers a simple, mostly trouble-free way of sharing your media across different devices - think bluetooth or wifi, but without jumping through the hoops (more detail here). Anyone here who's intrigued by this capability?

I am certainly interested in a mobile device having DLNA capabilities. However, the linked article only appears to mention sharing content from the phone.

My personal interest would be regarding the phone being the DLNA client (not server). I have a media server setup at home, and would like to be able to play content from this server via my mobile whilst I am in and around my home. Thus not being restricted by the content I have already loaded onto the device.

Anyone have any idea if this would be possible?

Mah! Both Sony Ericson and Motorola devices have had this ability for a couple of years but it does not seem people got so crazy about it.
