Oh, come on, that wasn't the funny part. The interaction was hilarious. We came across a booth that was selling power products (replacement batteries and the like). We introduced ourselves. The rep didn't take any notice of Suhit or myself, but Kati, being well-dressed and... well... having a name badge in the right place... he actually noticed she was listed as a Professor.
"YOU'RE a PROFESSOR!?"
She acknowledged the fact. (I bet Kati likes people saying that the first time.  ) Anyway, he continued to show off his (rather mediocre) wares. We decided to leave. This is when he truly got pathetic. I'm paraphrasing now, but he essentially said "BUT WAIT... YOU'RE a PROFESSOR?" several times and it appeared as if he was desperately trying to pick her up. I fortunately managed to stifle laughter until a few booths down.
Moral? Kati picked the right field if she wants middle-aged guys who sell battery products. Jack, you wouldn't happen to sell batteries, do you? :mrgreen:

Hahaha. No I don't sell batteries. And I promise I wouldn't "focus on her badge." LOL Just seems like a very intelligent woman I'd love to talk to about all kinds of subjects.
And no, I�m not hitting on her. The proposals are a joke. I know she�s married. I am too. Happily at that. I�m not some crazy internet stalker this thread makes me out to me.  Really.
(But she does have a lovely house.)
