Let's have a little off topic fun! I'm a little bored today, and when you look at the picture below, you can see why. 48 hours ago, it was a little rainy, but otherwise quite nice. Earlier this week it was beautiful here, a nice sunny 20 degrees Celsius. On Friday I had some gum surgery done :| and on Friday night it was quite windy. I awoke on Saturday morning to this:

Keep in mind that's less than 24 hours of snow. 8O It's since been snowing like mad, and there have even been a few roofs collapsing in the area! You don't want to know what my driveway looks like...

So what's the weather like in your area? Take a picture and link to it from your response to this thread below. At this time we can't host image attachments - you'll have to have access to your own Web server to upload the picture to. Come on, make me feel even worse about all the snow here!

I was laughing when I saw Calgary on CTV News last night... then thought of you, and started laughing harder

It's been a rough winter here too... one day warm, next day an ice storm... so I can laugh at you :D

The weather here on Long Island (New York) changes drastically and spontaneously too. Gotta love that global warmin'!

Here's looking out my home office window. Today is a cool 80 F (normally 88 this time of year) and partly cloudy in South Florida.

It's 70 (F) here in Philly - sunny and beautiful. It honestly couldn't be a more perfect day. Here's a pic I took today with my phone:

...took that on my bike ride to work this morning. Great weather to be out on my bike, not so great that I have to work today... :(

Geez. Here in Snohomish we are enjoying our first sunny day in a week. :sunny: That means gardening, gardening, and more gardening!

Here's a picture of our deck and the last of our tulips. In another week the tulips will be gone :( On the plus side, there are 210 gladiolus bulbs somewhere in there just waiting to come up :D

Lots of sun and clouds here today in beautiful Silverton Oregon. If you think the snow is difficult, at least you can move it out of your way. We have had nearly 2 1/2 consecutive months of off and on showers. The lawns have been too soggy to mow, with a few sunny days. My lawn literally sounds like a sponge when I walk on it. It is going to be a great year for slugs and mosquitos!

Sorry I have no pictures for you, but those of you who live in the San Francisco Bay Area can attest to the gorgeous weather we are having today, and normally have year round. Actually, we just got through a few weeks of rain, but from about now until October we can expect nothing but lots of sunshine (unless you live in San Francisco, where it is downright cold from about now until September, when it turns into the most gorgeous weather you can imagine).

I don't who it was here in Calgary that pissed off the weather gods but I vow to bring him/her to justice!!!! :jester: Snow today... flood tomorrow!

Here in Toronto, its nice and warm at 23 degrees celcius :) Last month, the weather changed pretty much every day from snow to sun, but it seems to be levelling off and getting warmer.. after the longest winter I can remember in a long time! :x-mas:

I put the picture on one of those free Geocities servers, so I'm sure the picture will be unavailable sometime because of the bandwidth limits on it; I don't have my own server to host it on.

Yeah, it's supposed to be 14C tomorrow... I guess we're being compensated for the lack of moisture we got last year.

EDIT: I guess they changed it to 4C for tomorrow, and 12C for Tuesday...

Here in South Dakota, USA it has been pretty rainy recently, but since about Friday it cleared up and has been BEAUTIFUL! Right now it is 60 degrees F (16 C). The trees are budding and the sun is out... so nice! I wish I had somewhere to host a picture of the tree out my window or of the Quad on campus here.

Now if only I could enjoy that weather... but alas, my homework must be done.

I was in Calgary about this time last year. The wx was beautiful and slightly cool but there was snow on the ground because a snow storm had just hit but had then cleared out by the time I had got there.

The reason I remember it was because the Memphis Redbirds were there to play a series with the Calgary team (Forgive me, I forgot their name) and all the games had been snowed out! So, you had a late winter/early spring storm last year, as well!

It was sunny a couple hours ago but it has since clouded up. ~12C

:) Yet another one here who is having some great weather. Upper 60s (maybe even lower 70s) today, mostly sunny although it is starting to cloud up a bit now. This is in the Portland, Oregon area, but on the Washington side of the river. I took this picture from the roof of our house looking north, just about 5 minutes ago. No, that is not our barn out there! :D

 I'm not sure if I can even answer what was going on. The monkey also made an appearance on April fool's day when he ran into the cafeteria, stole a huge basket with about 100 bananas in it and ran away. I am guessing the bucketman is the monkey's nemesis and they are trying to prove who is crazier. Who knows...I'm just trying to get my edumacation here at UVM
